Berowra students 'still waiting for computers'

Less than half the computers promised by the Rudd Labor Government have been provided to students in Berowra’s schools, local Federal MP Philip Ruddock said this week.

‘Under the National Secondary School Computer Fund, the Rudd Labor Government promised to provide a computer to every student from Year 9 to Year 12.’

‘For the Berowra electorate this means 6298 computers need to be installed.’

‘As at 21st April 2010, not even half were in place.’

Mr Ruddock said only 2,671 computers had been installed.
