Remembrance Day 2010
This Remembrance Day, Thursday November 11, the names of 10 fine Australian soldiers will be added to the Roll of Honour at the Australian War memorial in Canberra.
One of those names will be that of Trooper Jason Brown, formerly of Westleigh who was Killed in Action in Afghanistan on 13th August 2010.
Local Federal MP Philip Ruddock would like to see everyone pause at 11am on Thursday to remember the fallen of all wars, but especially Trooper Brown and those who have died this year.
‘Buy a poppy and wear it with pride on Remembrance Day to show how much we value the ultimate sacrifice which they made in our service.’
