LOCAL MP PHILIP RUDDOCK TO VISIT AMITY GRAND AT DURAL ON MONDAY 30TH APRIL AT 10.30 A.M.
The Member for Berowra, Philip Ruddock MP today congratulated Group Training Australia (GTA) in conjunction with Australian Training Company (ATC) on their Group Training Program and to see this program in action.
“I am pleased to meet several outstanding Group Training trainees on Monday hosted by local employer Amity Grand at Dural,” Mr Ruddock said.
Amity, established in 1999, has a national network of high quality aged healthcare services and has a reputation of providing a friendly, warm atmosphere for their residents, family and friends.
“In the current climate of skills shortages I am pleased to meet local apprentices and see them at work in their local environment,” Philip Ruddock said.
Group Training Australia (GTA) in conjunction with Australian Training Company (ATC) employs 42,000 apprentices and trainees nationally.
“Particular areas that Group Training representatives will be focusing on are: the need to invest further in training infrastructure; the need to back our young people’s abilities; the need to bolster group training arrangements; and additional funding for high skill apprenticeships,” Philip Ruddock said.
