Philip Ruddock today encouraged businesses in the Federal seat of Berowra to check out the new look Australian Government business gateway business.gov.au to discover how it can make their lives easier.
“business.gov.au is extremely popular with small business operators across Australia, who appreciate round-the-clock information and support - the site receives an incredible 170,000 visits a month,” Mr Ruddock said.
“Businesses in my electorate who visit the site will gain access to a wealth of information on everything from ‘How to’ guides for starting and growing a business to accessing and applying for Australian Business Numbers and detailed information on superannuation, taxation, employment and grants.”
Thanks to this upgrade, the site now features simplified navigation, improved search tools, increased usability and functionality and a sharper layout.
Information on business.gov.au is not restricted to Australian Government resources - the site features 10,000 links to government information at all levels as well as being a one-stop-shop for government information and services.”
The range of practical information and support available on business.gov.au is particularly useful to new and developing small and home-based businesses for local businesses
