CALL FOR LOCAL SENIOR AUSTRALIANS TO BE NOMINATED FOR A CERTIFICATE FOR EXTENSIVE SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY

The Member for Berowra, Philip Ruddock MP is requesting local senior Australians to be nominated for a Certificate for local service.

“This certificate is to mark the “Centenary of the First Payment of the Age Pension” which is amazing to think that this pension commenced in 1909,” Mr Ruddock said.

“Senior Australians have played an important part in building our nation and many have made truly outstanding contributions and I particularly acknowledge local constituents in this field.

“Please nominate a local senior constituent who has served in a local voluntary organisation with ten years minimum with exceptional service in a charitable or service organisation.

“Nomination forms are available by calling my office on 9980 1822 and we will post this out to the nominator. Each form will require a nominator and a seconder and a brief description of the candidate.
