LOCAL FEDERAL MP TO LEARN THE ART OF ROSE GROWING
The Member for Berowra, Philip Ruddock MP took part in the 2007 Pollies for Small Business at Nati Roses Dural.
“I am pleased once again to support the NSW Business Chamber’s annual Pollies for Small Business,” Mr Ruddock said.
"NSW Business Chamber continues to be popular with Members of Parliament and I am informed there have been over 80 Members of Parliament participating in the program.”
“Nati Roses have been established in the area for decades as a well known family business and I look forward to meeting Joe and staff on Monday.”
This program is a great way as a politician to learn how small business operators work and understand the responsibilities of running and own a business.
“In the past I have made pizzas, learned about car motors, served ‘choc tops’ at a cinema, and assisted in learning how to frame pictures,” Mr Ruddock said.
“Small business is the backbone of Australian employment and I look forward to supporting the Chamber’s Pollies for Small Business 2007,” Mr Ruddock said.
