CONGRATULATIONS TWO LOCAL RESIDENTS EXCEL AT THE 2007 AUSTRALIAN BIOLOGY OLYMPIAD TEAM
The Member for Berowra, Philip Ruddock MP today congratulated two local students on their return from Canada soon as International Science Olympiad medal winners.
The International Biology Olympiads were held in Saskatoon Canada from the 15 - 22nd July 2007. Over 70 countries and 280 students participated in this event. Each Olympiad student had to participate in 10 hours of gruelling practical and theoretical exams.
Two of the four team members from Australia either live or attend a school in my electorate which I am delighted and pleased for their success.

Dorothy Wai James Ruse Agricultural High, NSW Silver Medal
Eshan Affan who lives in Kellyville and attends Normanhurst Boys’ High School and Dorothy Wai lives in Beecroft and attends James Ruse Agriculture High School.
