A local student was one of four from Australia who attended the Asian Science Camp held from 5-11th August 2007 in Taipei, Taiwan. This is organised through Australian Science Innovations based in Canberra. Ruby Kwong who resides in my electorate at West Pennant Hills and attends James Ruse High School was fortunate to be selected to attend this prestigious Science Camp. These talented young students had the opportunity to meet Nobel Laureates and distinguished scientists. They participated in round table discussions and student to master dialogues. The Asian Science Camp is organised by the Wu Chien-Shiung Education Foundation. This camp aims to enlighten young students through discussion with senior members of the Science community and to promote dialogue between international science students.
