POLLIES FOR SMALL BUSINESS
PHILIP RUDDOCK LEARNS ABOUT LANDSCAPING MATERIAL
MONDAY 11TH AUGUST 2.00 P.M. - MARTIN SOIL COMPANY
272-274 NEW LINE ROAD DURAL
The Member for Berowra, Philip Ruddock MP will roll up his sleeves for small business and will be joining more than 80 of his state and federal colleagues across New South Wales as they are put to work as part of the NSW Business Chamber’s annual Pollies for Small Business program.
“I will be visiting local business Martin Soil Company on Monday 11th August 2008 at 2.00 p.m. to meet with Joe Saliba and his team at Martin Soils,” Mr Ruddock said.
The Pollies for Small Business is organised through the NSW Business Chamber to give Members of Parliament an opportunity to appreciate what goes on behind the scenes in running a small business and to discuss their concerns.
Last year 83 State and Federal politicians took part from the major parties, greens, and independents, including the Premier and NSW Opposition Leader.
“This is a great program as it helps parliamentarians to understand one another better and to see first hand the work involved, even for a short time, that is part of small business,” Philip Ruddock said.
The NSW Business Chamber Pollies for Small Business program is run in cooperation with the local Chamber of Commerce network.
