LOCAL NSW COMPANY WINS AT THE 2008 AUSTRALIAN EXPORT AWARDS
The Member for Berowra, Philip Ruddock MP said today that local business Laservision based in Dural has won the Arts and Entertainment Award.
“Laservision has an outstanding reputation using high powered lasers and special effects and I have been out to Laservision in Dural on two occasions to look at how they work and it is most impressive ,” Mr Ruddock said.
Laservision creates unique lighting spectaculars and the company under Paul McCloskey has over 30 years experience and exports more than 95 percent of its services and products to the Asian market.
There were 13 category winners in the Australian Export Awards and these companies have generated export earnings worth $969 million during the last financial year and directly employed more than 1,400 people.
The Australian Export Awards program is comprised of eight State and Territory Export Awards, each managed independently by the relevant State or Territory government departments or industry body.
“Again I congratulate Paul McCloskey and his team,” Philip Ruddock said.
